Overview

RoLayer is a development-stage control plane for Roblox projects. This preview is used to authenticate users, associate them with workspaces and projects, and verify linked Roblox identities.

Information we collect

RoLayer may collect and store:

• Clerk account identifiers and session information
• Clerk organization and workspace membership context
• Project membership and environment access metadata
• Verified Roblox identity claims needed for account linking, including the stable Roblox user ID from the verified `sub` claim
• Operational logs needed to secure and troubleshoot the app

How identity is handled

RoLayer uses Clerk as the primary human identity provider. Roblox identity is used only for verified account linking. Roblox usernames and display names are treated as presentation data and not as stable identity keys.

How we use information

• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions
• Determine workspace, project, and environment access
• Link a verified Roblox account to the signed-in user
• Detect misuse, duplication, and unauthorized access
• Operate, maintain, and improve the service

Sharing and disclosure

RoLayer does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required to operate the app, including identity, hosting, and database providers.

Development status

This service is currently in development. Data handling and retention practices may change as the product matures. This page will be updated as the service becomes publicly available.
